We are spoilt with beautiful walks from Knowle Meadow. To make life easier, we have mapped these out with detailed guidance, to prevent any wrong turns. How about:
Walking to Chard Reservoir, our local nature reserve. A fantastic site for bird watching, following wildflower meadows through to woodland edge surrounding the expanse of open water with spectacular scenery. There is even a small children’s woodland play area to explore.
Taking a stroll through the countryside and dropping into either the Haymaker Inn or the George for a pint.
Walking to Dowlish Wake to discover Perry’s Cider Mill to try their cider tasting paddle, followed by indulging at the Canteen, and then dropping into the New Inn on your way back, just for good measure.
Joining onto the Sustrans route just down our lane, and exploring either Chard or Ilminster.
Our walking routes are available on site on paper or by scanning a QR code.
