When it comes to glamping, Knowle Meadow offers thoughtfully curated accommodation which will ensure a magical stay

Yarrow - Shepherd's Hut

Our two-person Shepherd's Hut was made locally 10 miles away in Merriott. It boasts all the comforts you could expect, including a superbly comfortable double bed, warming log burner, mini-kitchen (gas hob, cooking equipment, toaster and fridge) and private Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub.

 

Yarrow's private hedge-enclosed garden has a fire-pit with grill and outside seating, to make the most of the beautiful views.

Yarrow is perfect in all seasons; for chillier days you can light the log fire and bed down with a good book. When it's warm, open the doors and windows wide, and enjoy the glorious setting.

Access to the Scandinavian sauna is included in the price of your stay.

We have two Belle Tents, Bluebell and Foxglove, each with their own individual style. The Belle tents:

​

  • are 6 metre in diameter (28m2) with skylight windows, to ensure you have the very best uninterrupted view of the night sky;

  • have a king-sized bed, with two single "camp" beds which can be made up for children;

  • have electricity;

  • have cosy log-burners, which can also be used to cook upon. A stove top kettle is provided;

  • have a private outdoor kitchen with two-ring gas hob for cooking, pans, crockery and 

    cutlery;

  •  have a private outside area, with seating, picnic table and a fire pit with grill;

  • firewood, kindling and lighters are provided, and more can be purchased on site.

​

Bluebell is dog-friendly. Dogs are not allowed in Foxglove.

​

Access to the Scandinavian sauna is included in the price of your stay. 

​

There is a shared fridge freezer in the facilities building, with washing-up sinks.

Please note: 

  • Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in Bluebell. Charges apply. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed in Yarrow or Foxglove

  • There is a 2 night minimum stay

  • Check in is from 3pm. For arrivals after 8pm please contact us in advance

  • Check out is by 10.30am on your day of departure. Late check out only by prior arrangement and agreement. Please contact us in advance

  • Bed linen and towels are provided

  • Locally sourced and seasoned wood will be provided with glamping accommodation and additional wood available for purchase. Please only use this carefully seasoned wood in any log burner 

  • Noise after 10pm to be kept to a minimum. Please respect our neighbours, human and animal

  • Only guests on the booking are permitted on site

  • Maximum of 6 adults in a group (regardless of whether the bookings are made together or individually) 

  • Please keep to the paths whenever possible to help preserve the meadow and flowers
